Free Baby Shower Clip Art

The Internet offers a wealth of information on where you can get free baby shower clip art.  It is easy to find using any search engine, the click of a mouse, and off you go.  Just make sure you've narrowed your theme in order to find exactly what you're looking for.  Are you looking for particular theme, character, concept,  or just plain old pictures of babies.  Many sites offer a variety of options, and you must decide if you want photos as opposed to clip art.  The difference is that the photos will be in a photo format, and the clipart will be in a cartoonlike drawing.

Once you've found your clipart or photo, it could be used for many different things.  Of course you want to save it to your hard drive so you will have it when you start making the different types of items you’ll be using for the baby shower.  Are you going to use it for your announcements?  Or are you going to use it for the thank you notes for the people who attend the party? You can certainly use it for both.

One of the most overlooked places to get clipart is your local library.  Call ahead of time and asked to speak to the reference librarian.  Explain to him/her that you are looking for clipart or photos of baby type images.  Also ask them if they have a scanner readily available that you can use so you can scan the photos into computer and either e-mail them to yourself, or save them to a disk or CD.  Keep in mind the your librarian is a valuable resource and would be happy to help you save plenty of time by having some of the books and images available for you before you even get there.  If you're having trouble finding a specific type of picture online, such as a picture of a diaper cake, pacifier, baby with a teddy bear, baby in a crib, multiple babies in the same picture, or baby with his/her parents, explain to the librarian exactly the type of picture you're looking for and they will not only help you find it, but can also give you a list of references for future use.
